How to be a registered pharmacist in England

The man who dispenses the medicine according to the physician’s prescription is called a pharmacist .Pharmacy is a noble profession, there is no doubt of this.The registration of pharmacist is the licensing process that allows them to practice their profession and issued by government licensing authorities.The General pharmaceutical council is the licensing authority for pharmacist in Great Britain.They provide the license for the pharmacist to practice their profession in England .They are also responsible for providing the license for pharmacist from overseas as well.

The General pharmaceutical council has four different routes to be registered. They are as follows :

1.Uk recognized pharmacist qualification :This route is for those pharmacists who has received their training from England, Scotland or wales.You need  Uk accredited M.pharm degree with successfully completed 52 weeks preregistration training from England ,  Scotland or wales and a clearance from GPhc ‘s registration assessment .For more info click here.

2.EEA –qualified pharmacist : If you completed your training from a nation which demographic situation is in EEA other than the UK ,your route is this.A documentation of experience along with qualification should require and need to sent to GPhc to apply for registration , once you will provide all necessary information and documentation the GPhc will send you an application form .You also need to show an English language proficiency certificate that was legalized from 21 November 2016.For more info click here.

3.Overseas  qualified pharmacist :If your qualification or training  is from outside of EEA and UK you will follow this route .Before you  apply for registration you need to complete certain things

                       ### An overseas pharmacist assessment program (OSPAP)

                       ### 52 weeks of preregistration training that must be approved by Gphc
